National Bank Limited (NBL) recently started "Infolady" loan disbursement under Bangladesh Bank's Refinance Scheme among Infolady Entrepreneurs.

The loan was distributed by Bogra branch on April 19 and Rangpur and Gaibandha branches on April 20, said a press release.

Under this Infolady loans, entrepreneurs will buy laptop, bicycle, digital camera, tools for digital services and primary health care. They will be given required services and information.

National Bank Limited is the first-ever bank in the country that introduced "Infolady Loan Programme" aiming to help rural youths get self-employed.

Sukamal Singha Chowd- hury, General Manager, SME and Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank, Md. Khalilur Rah- man, General Manager, Unus Ali, Deputy General Manager, S M Mohsin Hossain, Joint Director and Uzzal Kumar Das among others were present on the occasion.
